Installation

Download from Releases

Navigate to the Releases  and download the latest release for your device.

Unzip

Extract the contents of the downloaded file to a directory of your choice.

Setup

Setup the path if needed and run the executable. Based on your OS, the path setup process may vary.

Running zune

If you have properly setup the environment, you can run zune by executing the following command.

zune

Alternatively, you can run the executable directly without the path setup process.

path/to/zune

Install Rokit

Navigate to the rokit installation  step and proceed there.

Installing zune

Run this command in your project directory to install zune. You would also need to have rokit setup on your project, using rokit init.

rokit add Scythe-Technology/zune

Alternatively, you can install zune globally with the --global flag.

rokit add --global Scythe-Technology/zune

Running zune

After installing zune with rokit, the command should work out of the box.

zune

Install Zig

Navigate to zig download  and proceed there.

Make sure to get the matching zig version for zune.

Requirements:

Clone the Repository

Use this git command to clone the repository.

git clone https://github.com/Scythe-Technology/zune.git

Make sure to navigate to the cloned repository.

cd zune

Compiling zune

You can run this command to compile zune with zig matching the optimization settings for zune releases.

Optionally you can use zig build for a debug build.

zig build -Doptimize=ReleaseFast

Setup

You can copy the zune binary from zig-out/bin/zune to a directory of your choice and add to your enviroment.

zune

Alternatively, you can run the executable directly without the path setup process.

zig-out/bin/zune
